SPRING COMMISSIONING. When winter is over, owners naturally want to put their boats back into the water quickly. As everybody who owns a yacht well knows, spring commissioning requires a lot of work. WINTER STORAGE. Winter lay-up of a yacht, particularly if you live in the Northeast, can account for a significant part of your boat's budget.
